INTERTAPE POLYMER GROUP ANCHORS ITS POSITION IN THE MARINE MARKET BRADENTON, FL (April 21, 2008)— Intertape Polymer Group announces a new line of Anchor® Marine Products developed specifically for the marine and composites industry. Its newly featured product, Anchor® Orange Mask™, is an innovative performance masking tape designed to provide excellent adhesion to semipermanent release agents. “The marine and composites industry has asked for a tape that works with semi-permanent release agents and Anchor® Orange Mask™ delivers the solution,” explained Cindy Stoner, IPG Marine Market Manager. Anchor® Orange Mask™ provides a vivid color for product differentiation, tear resistance after gel-coating,residue free clean removal, excellent adhesion to backing when layered, and short term UV resistance. Anchor® Orange Mask™ sets the new standard and makes this the industry’s product of choice. Technologies such as vacuum infusion and RTM demand new solutions. Water based mold release agents create additional challenges for pressure sensitive tapes. Intertape Polymer Group has the answer.
