This EMC2 High Volume RTM Cart is a completely portable system for High Capacity, High Flow Rate Liquid Molding. The system has a maximum capacity of 100 cubic inches and is adjustable down to 10 cubic inches of resin. The built-in control system is operated by the Allen Bradley SLC-500 programmable controller, making it versatile and easy to interface with most press circuits. The hydraulic system is a Parker "V" pack powered by a 5HP electric motor and is capable of 2500 PSI. To make the piston pump more efficient, we have designed it to charge an accumulator which does all of the work during the High Speed Transfer of Resin. The resin lines are water-cooled as is the meter allowing a longer shelf life on the materials used for molding. The unit is simple to operate and maintain while maintenance and performance have not been compromised. A utilities "bulkhead" makes for easy hook-ups and allows quick and easy assembly and disassembly when maintenance is required. EMC2 has built into this system many standard "off the shelf" components. These components will be familiar to your maintenance personnel and easy to get a hold of for your purchasing department should the need arise. Electrical Supply: 480 Volt - 3 Phase - 60 HZ with 15 amps current The Reservoir is the only part that has been used, the Control panel on the RTM Cart has never had the hole made to run the main power to it. The unit is in very good shape and with minimal time could be up and running. There are a few pieces that have been robbed off of it while it was in storage, contact me for a list. I have the original manual and schematics for this unit and many more pictures. The unit includes some miscellaneous hoses and other parts.
