The Fiberglass Tank and Pipe Institute was incorporated in 1987 as a non-profit
organization. Its' purpose is to provide a forum through which the fiberglass
reinforced thermoset plastic ("FRP" or "RTP") industry
can work together effectively toward the common goal of advancing the use
of all fiberglass products in the tank and piping marketplace, i.e. coordinate
market studies and statistics, combine talents and resources to provide
standard-setting organizations with superior technical data and disseminate
information to the government, industry and the public. |

Dual Laminate Fabrication Association - DLFA was formed to promote the
use of Dual Laminate structures composed of a thermoplastic liner over-wrapped
with fiber glass reinforcement.
These structures have found uses in handling various types of corrosive
liquids and gases as well as hi-purity liquids. Tanks, pipe, fittings,
fume scrubbers and various other chemical vessels are made in this manner
and provide a cost effective answer to the problems addressed.
